All greyhounds make wonderful pets, and some are exceptional. Reggie’s foster carers describe him as the most wonderful, affectionate boy they have ever met, who has lavished them with love, trust and cuddles from the moment he came into foster care.

Reggie will cuddle anywhere there’s a willing human – on the couch, at the door when you get home, or by bouncing onto the bed first thing in the morning! He loves to play with tennis balls and soft toys, or running and playing at the dog park, where he gets on brilliantly with dogs of all sizes. Even though he loves playing, Reggie is just as happy to spend the day lazing about in the sun, either at your feet or with his head on your lap.

Reggie’s loving nature means he will do best with plenty of company, preferably human and canine. He’s great with older children (younger ones might get knocked over, in his excitement to see them), and has shown no interest in chasing cats. He responds well to training, is confident on stairs, and will let you know if he needs to go outside for a toilet break.

Reggie’s carers will be sad to see him go, but happy that another home will be brightened by this very special boy.
