Aspro *•Adopt Me•*

Aspro...still waiting for his forever home!

Our beautiful boy Aspro arrived into care on the 16th of April last year (2015). He came from the RSPCA when they had run out of space and we were asked if could help out and take some bunnies into care.

Aspro has waited patiently for 8.5 months now, but the right home hasn't come yet, in fact no one has even taken a second glance at him.

Up-eared red eyed rabbits are usually the last bunnies to get adopted as many people find their red eyes 'scary' or 'evil'. I'm sure if Aspro could've chosen he would've been a cute colourful mini lop, but he didn't get much say in the matter!

Aspro is a really awesome rabbit, he is such a little character and he loves to snuggle up to other bunnies as you can see in this photo of him cuddling his friend Delilah. He loves to be cuddled and fall asleep in your arms, and is a very content and confident bunny.

Unfortunately for Aspro, on a few occasions over the past 8.5 months when he is being cuddled he appears to be fast asleep and dreaming away, and when least expected he will suddenly wake up, roll over and bite the nearest arm or hand and then go back to sleep. He isn't aggressive, it's like he doesn't even know what happened - I'm sure he doesn't mean too! But this means that finding a suitable home is much more difficult, especially being a red eyed bunny.

His carers quickly learnt how to cuddle him in a way so that he doesn't have a chance to have on chomp on their arm or finger, so it is possible to cuddle him without being bitten and these techniques can be shown to any potential adopter (if ever there is one). He is otherwise an absolutely amazing rabbit, and whilst he is happy and safe with his foster carer we would LOVE for Aspro to find a forever home.
