About Henry *On Trial in His New Home*
*HENRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Lively Lab x Kelpie pup Henry is ready to meet his new family! Henry would love a home where he’s allowed inside and would benefit from a canine companion if you’re away for much of the day. He is a friendly, bouncy boy who just wants to be part of a family no matter how big or small.
Bursting with puppy-love and playfulness Henry is a shoe-in for the title of super-wriggly-bum of the year! He is looking for an active owner committed to obedience training and regular exercise. He has an affectionate nature and gets along well with his foster carers own dog just wanting to play or hang out. Even though he’s a little bit silly Henry has mastered “sit” – it helps that he enjoys food especially treats which assists with his training. He’s eager to please his humans and quickly learnt how to play fetch even bringing the toy back. As he’s not fully vaccinated, until he has his 3rd needle next week, Henry has only been on a lead in the yard so will need some practice with this in his forever home.

Energetic Henry is an enthusiastic pup who will play with you for hours and then happily curl up on your lap for a snuggle while you watch tv. He is excitable and does jump up so we wouldn’t recommend him to a home with young children who he may accidentally bowl over. He’s going through that puppy chewing stage so stimulation in the form of toys, bones or a doggie playmate are a must. Henry loves to dig in his sandpit which has stopped him from digging in other parts of the yard, so one of these may be a wise investment!
As Henry is getting the hang of toilet-training and sleeps inside in a crate at night he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in his forever home. Being a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing and lots of cuddles will make Henry very happy indeed!!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
