Shelby

Shelby is a sweet affectionate girl looking for a loving family to call her own. Shelby has spent most of her life confined to a backyard, and so has had very little exposure to the outside world. She is very timid of strangers and becomes anxious in new situations. Despite this, once she knows and trusts you she is the biggest snuggle bug.

Shelby would love to have a doggie buddy in her new home, someone confident and calm to help her settle in. She is happily living with cats, chickens and free range house bunnies in her foster home.
Shelby loves cuddling. She craves human interaction and needs to be included in all facets of family life. Shelby would be best suited to a family with a stay at home parent or people that work from home. She can become anxious if left outside alone for long periods. She has been perfect with her house training!

Shelby enjoys daily walks and is now learning to love a stroll in the park. Shelby has passed the destructive puppy stage in life but still likes to play exuberantly so her ideal canine companion is medium-large breed. She's a very clever girl and has been quick to learn all the basic commands.

Overall Shelby is a loving loyal girl who is eager to please and just wants to be included in family life.
