About Cookie
Cookie knows basic commands well and sits the moment you ask. She is a joyful dog bouncy and full of excitement which she loves to share. She would flourish in a home that can provide her with quality ongoing training exercise and mental stimulation. She sometimes gets too excited and wants you to play with her and this may cause her to bark but if you keep her stimulated that will reduce this. Make sure you give her a Kong or boredom buster toy to keep her company whenever you're out and about.Cookie likes playing with toys and will play 'fetch' for as long as you will play with her but sometimes she can become a little possessive of the ball/toy. Offering Cookie a treat will get her to sometimes drop the toy you will need to continue this training with her. For this reason we would recommend that Cookie does not go home to a family with children under 10 years old.To make sure that I am the perfect match for you it is important that I meet all members of the family that includes any other dogs that you may have.Being a Kelpie and a very active working type of dog breed she would not be suitable to go home with cats or pocket pets.Cookie will need a medium to large backyard to explore and fencing that is at least 5ft high with no gaps that she may escape from. LEVEL 2 ADOPTION- MUST MEET ALL DOGS- NO CATS OR POCKET PETS- NO CHILDREN UNDER 10
