About Biff ~ Foxy X (trial 9/11/15)
Hi, my name is Biff, I am a handsome young 2yr old Foxy X looking for my furever home. My favourite things to do are playing fetch with my Kong and my Froggy; going for walks with my foster family; and snuggling on the lounge with my foster mum.
I currently live with 2 cats and 2 children aged 4 and 8. My foster mum feels that while I love my foster brothers, I would be happier living with older kids, a single lady looking for her perfect little lad, or a couple who want a snuggler to keep them company.
I like to try and play with my foster cat siblings, but I tend to get a bit over excited. It's ok, I figured out ages ago that my foster cat-brother is bigger than me so I know how far I can go before I should walk away :-D
I have not tried to escape from my foster home, but my parents have given me no opportunity to try. So my foster Mum recommends secure fencing just in case.
I love to be outside in the sunshine but I hate walking in the rain, so I will do my business really quickly on rainy days. I walk well on the lead, especially after I've been to the toilet! I tend to bark ferociously at other doggies on the street in case they want to play, but my foster mum has not tried to have me play with them. \ So I would have to meet any new friends on neutral ground so that we can see how we get along.
I am not a fussy eater, but because I get a little itchy at times, I prefer fish to meat. I love tuna, sardines, white fillets and I enjoy my bickies as well.
I am good in the bath and I love car rides. I really need to sleep inside with my family, and I will sleep in my own bed if you prefer, but I do love to snuggle under the blanket with you on a cold night.
I am desexed, immunised and up to date with my flea and worm treatments. I take my preventative medicines (flea and worm) really well if they're wrapped in cheese.
If you are looking for a good little mate to go on walks with and have snuggles with, please ring my Foster Mum Ann on 0409661875 or email pippens_mum@hotmail.com to organise a play date so we can see if we are a good match!
Biff is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Biff's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
