About Amy
*** AMY HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY LONG TERM FOSTER CARER 12/9/16***
This little girl came to us after losing her owners to a breakup and passing, AMY is looking for someone to love her in her twilight years.
Amy is memorising and queen of the house. Everyone who meets her falls for her instantly. She loves cuddles and spending time on a humans lap but is also good when on her own. She will happily go and wait in her crate for you to return, at which point she brings out the best welcome home happy dance.
Lovely Amy is good with other dogs but prefers to play with humans and shows little interest in our free range chickens but is intrigued with the guinea pigs and likes to mother them. She is very gentle and quiet older girl.
She would be more comfortable in a home with older children (who can respect the fact that she is a refined older lady who does not wish to engage in ruff and tumble games) or adults and she would love to have a lap available as much as possible but is comfortable to be left at home if you need to go out.
Upon Amy’s vet check, we were upset to discover her diagnosis; knowing that many will be deterred from her even though she is the most beautiful loving girl. Please read below carefully but take into consideration her personality. If you are looking for a gentle, easy going lap dog – she is the one!
We here at Furry Friends LOVE Amy and we are in no rush to have her leave us. Amy is available for adoption but to the right home only. If you have any concerns about her health, please enquire further and consult with your own vet.

MEDICAL
Diagnosed on the 11th June:
