Hello there! My name is Lola and I am a sweet gentle girl who is looking for a loving home to call my very own! I first arrived in the shelter as a stray who unfortunately was not reclaimed so I now looking for my perfect match. I am a quiet shy girl who can be a little reserved when first meeting people but once I get to know you I have a gentle and kind personality and love cuddles and head scratches. I am happy to climb into your lap for a snuggle and a snooze. I will require a specific owner who will give me plenty of time to settle in at home before my true personality shows. I would benefit from having lots of safe spots for me to go to in my new household such as boxes enclosed beds and enclosed cat scratching post houses where I can go when I feel a little unsure to recover until I feel better as this will help me with the transition and help me settle in quicker. I am best suited to a quiet and mature household with no children as I am a little unsure around loud noises and fast movements. My new owners must also keep in mind that everyday household objects may be a little scary to me such as vacuum cleaners brooms etc and allow me to feel safe and recover in my own time if I do become startled. I may also be a little unsure with new people entering the house so it is very important that I will always have access to my very own hidey hole even once I have settled into the household as this is my own personal space.
