Bear

Introducing BEAR (D827) the 6 year old Maltese Shihtzu. Bear is a great dog that has coped with a lot since coming into our care; new people, new situations, vet check and grooming and he has taken it all in his stride. (Photo taken prior to grooming).

Bear is a little unique as he does not have a tail. The reason why we do not know but it adds to his charm. Bear is more cofident than Maggie but he is still a sensitive boy. He can be nervous about being picked up. And can be a bit of a mountain goat and likes to jump up on laps and such to get attention.

Bear loves to play fetch and has enjoyed playing fetch with balls. He is quite the little runner!

We would love to see Bear and Maggie being adopted together. They are a good pair and Maggie relies on Bear to lead the way.

Bear's adoption fee is $350 and this helps to cover some of his veterinary work. He will go to his new home, vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated. It will also help to cover the remainder of this years registration if adopted into the Horsham Rural city municipality.
