Barney

Barney is a well-mannered 2 year old cross Pug. RSPCA staff says I'm just about the cutest thing on the planet! Barney enjoys being around people so he would love to spend time with you.Barney can get very excited and sometimes possessive about high value treats such as pig's ears and bones but RSPCA staff members have worked on this with Barney using the commands 'give' and 'leave it' and Barney is now more manageable. RSPCA staff members will explain how to do this if you chose to make Barney part of your family. Due to this we recommend that Barney go home to an experienced dog owner.We are not sure how Barney will behave around cats or pocket pets therefore we recommend that if he goes to a home with cats or pocket pets that he is supervised when around them. Barney would also be suitable to go home with older childrenShe doesn't need a huge amount of grooming but would enjoy a quick brush every few days.In his new home Barney will need a fully fenced and secure yard (minimum 5ft high fences) with no holes or gaps.Barney is an incredibly sweet boy and a very loving soul who needs (and deserves) a wonderful forever home.EXPERIENCED OWNERMUST MEET ALL DOGSLEVEL 2 ADOPTIONNO KIDS UNDER 10
