Tyson on trial in his new home

Tyson is on trial in his new home. Tyson is one big boned, beautiful young seven month old German Shepherd who has come into care through no fault of his own.

Tyson is a big puppy weighing in at 31 kilos at seven months of age so we have christened him "Baby Huey". Tyson was purchased as a six week old puppy to a family who though that feeding him lots of pasta and whatever was put in front of him was what he needed. Well unfortunately Tyson needs to loose some of his baby chub. So he is now in foster care getting sensible sized meals of good quality puppy food and calcium with supplements to ensure he gets the right amount of nutrition for a growing dog.

Tyson has not had allot of interaction with other dogs and now he is in care he is going to be around other dogs and socialising with a normal household with children, other dogs, horses and the odd cow.

So we are looking for a home where Tyson will continue with training as he has had none, socialisation with people and other animals and plenty of exercise, playtime and firm boundaries to set him on the right path to ensure he grows into a calm and happy dog.

Tyson will need a committed owner who will ensure he is a much loved family member. \ Due to his size at such a young age we can see Tyson growing to a 40 plus kilo shepherd. So we suggest a home with no pockets pets or cats and perhaps a mature aged couple who are active or a family with older children who have the commitment to put time and training into this beautiful young dog.
