Meet Misty. A shy, sweet, loving cat who enjoys the outdoors in the day & snuggles in front of the telly at night.

Searching for a smoochy human to love.

Misty's a 5 year old male domestic medium hair crossed with a persian. Misty is a beautiful cat looking for a loving home through our assisted rehoming program.

He found himself in an unfortunate situation when his owner had to move into an aged care facility & could not take him. He is being well cared for by a relative but they feel they can not provide him with the life he deserves. Misty is an inside/outside cat, he's affectionate once he gets to know you but can be timid & hide at first. He will need a patient home as it may take time to gain his trust. He usually toilets outside but can also use a litter tray when inside. Misty usually comes inside in the afternoon & then will ask to be let out early in the morning. Misty would love a cat flap with access to an outdoor enclosure as he enjoys the outdoors. He has not lived with other cats in his life. He has previously lived with a small dog happily.

Fun fact: Misty has never been heard purring & his owner describes him as being more dog like - so he would be the perfect cat for a dog & cat loving human/family.
