About Toby ~ Jack Russell X (Trial 23/8/15)
Meet Toby! He is a beautiful little Jack Russell X who just loves your attention. He has had it rough in his 7 years but even so, all he wants to do is love you completely and he is such a snuggle bum.
Toby absolutely loves his walks & is great on the lead and harness, sometimes even going to the front door to let you know he thinks it's time for a walk now. He shows no interest in other animals whilst out and about, he's just happy to be out with you.
Toby loves his bed, playing with his chew toys and especially, fetch.
He can also be serious though and will sit for his dinner or whenever it's needed.
He has met other little doggies and is very sociable. Toby currently lives with his foster sister, a kelpie cross so he's fine with bigger dogs too but needs to feel safe as well so any bigger dogs around him must be placid. He is also great with human friends including children.
Toby is toilet trained and will go to the back door to let you know when he needs to go out.
At night time he is fine sleeping on his bed next to yours but Toby definitely makes a great cuddle buddy and is happy to share his warmth with you in your bed if you will let him.
Toby is loving, gentle and just wants to have a best friend to spend the rest of his life with. He deserves only the best and he is sure the perfect family is out there somewhere, waiting for him and needing him right now.
Toby is located in Cessnock and if you think that empty spot in your heart and home is for him please contact Rebecca on 0466 889 423 or emaillittle_yellow_ducky@live.com.au
Toby's adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
