Meet Willow our Red Heeler!

Willow is an affectionate girl who is in need of a big-hearted new family. She had a difficult start to life and was originally adopted from a pound at 8 weeks of age. She has since outgrown her puppyhood, and grown into a loving and loyal dog; reluctantly surrendered due to a change in family circumstances.

Willow loves to play ball, chew sticks, and snooze on her bed. She is a softie who loves to spoon on the sofa, carry her blanket around, and hates going out in the rain.

Willow loves to be around people, and would suit a family with older dog-savvy children and no other dogs. She finds communicating with her own kind pretty stressful, as she was not socialized properly as a puppy.

She is a sweet natured dog, who needs a special new family to love her.

All dogs that come into the care of Victorian Dog Rescue are tested for heart worm.
