About Patch ~ Wire Hair Jack Russell (on trial 25/8/15)
Patch is a 3 year old outgoing, boisterous but good little wire haired Jack Russell. Patch is extremely friendly and loves being with other dogs. He plays well, is house trained and sleeps in his own bed but will sneak onto human beds when he gets a chance.
He really needs to have companionship and would be great for a second dog or a family that has plenty of time to give him attention.
A secure yard would be a necessity as he would try to adventure out if left alone.
Patch sleeps inside, love his food and loves his walks. He loves to fetch the ball and play tug-o-war
Patch came to Newcastle Dog Rescue as a couple with Cassie and it would be nice if they could be adopted together, however after being transferred into a home with many dogs it has been assessed that they can now be adopted separately without any problem.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
