About Cassie ~ Wire Hair Jack Russell (on trial 25/8/15)
Cassie is a quiet, gentle little six year old wire haired Jack Russell. She is a little shy but very loving and well behaved. She is used to being with other dogs but keeps to herself a lot.
Cassie is house trained and sleeps in her own bed next to the humans’ bed.
Cassie would be ideal for a companion dog or a retiree wanting to give her a loving home.
She really needs to have companionship and would be great for a second dog or a family that has plenty of time to give her attention.
A secure yard would be a necessity as she would try to adventure out if left alone.
She sleeps inside, loves her food and love her walks.
Casssie came to Newcastle Dog Rescue as a couple with Patch and it would be nice if they could be adopted together, \ however after being transferred into a home with many dogs it has been assessed that they can now be adopted separately without a problem.
If you would like to know more, please email Diane on dipamp4@bigpond.com. or phone 0425200721. She is situated in Salamander Bay, NSW (Newcastle. Could available for interstate adoption.
Cassie's adoption fee is $300 . She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
