About Matilda . good with cats dogs horses chooks
Matilda is a Large sized Bull Arab about six years old. She is cat, chook, dog and human friendly; horsey people would describe her as "bombproof", she is divine. Never once have I seen her behave aggressively. Nothing really bothers her at all. Matilda develops a deep love of her human and needs someone that will be home a lot of the time. Matilda has been around children, the elderly and also physically disabled, she understands and is respectful of their space.
She just wants to be loved and cuddled and appreciated.
Matilda needs human company basically around the clock. I realise that this is virtually impossible so I would suggest a secure outside run for when you are not home. She has lived both with myself in a busy home environment and in a kennelled environment. The kennel gives her the security she needs at the moment.
Matilda has and responds exceptionally well to many different commands. Sit, leave, come, back, inside, outside, up, down, Ahh Ahh and NO (her least favourite) with Good Girl her all time favourite. She has excellent recall. Talking and repetitively using the words I use with my dogs is important. She also snores, quite well I might add.
Sometime, somewhere in our wonderful girl Matilda's life someone loved this beautiful soul. I cannot find anyone that doesn't become spellbound by her magnificent temperament. She has this calming influence, when you sit, stressed by the world she sits by you. Within a few minutes your hand is on her, you're fingers are massaging her oh so soft fur and then you also realise how relaxed you have become. Matilda loves to follow you around
If you think you / you and your family are able to give our amazing Matilda what she needs and deserves please fill out an adoption interest application with as much detail as possible.
