Vinnie

Vinnie is a 2-year-old, 58kg harlequin Great Dane who loves affection and being around you. Despite his size, he is still a puppy in nature and will be your friend for life if you give him his belly rub. He is well mannered and calm around people, including children. Vinnie is low maintenance as he will lounge for the rest of the day once he’s had his walk and breakfast. He has good dinner manners, knows he can’t sit on the couch or be in the bedrooms with his foster family but sometimes sneaks in to give you a morning wake-up kiss if you are late getting up. He is not destructive, barks infrequently and walks nicely on a lead beside you. Since arriving, he has learnt to be less anxious when you leave the house for long periods, and you will need to continue to extend this, if necessary. It seemed that Vinnie had little socialising with other dogs upon arriving, but has learned to meet other dogs. Your only other task with this rescue dog is to continue to properly introduce him to well mannered dogs so that he knows other dogs are fun to be with.
