About Patrick ~ Bull Terrier x B C (trial 20/10/15)
Introducing the amazing Patrick ! Patrick is a 4 year old Border Collie X Bull Terrier He is everything you are looking for in a best mate. He is loyal, attentive, always ready to join in with whatever activity you have planned. He is cute, cuddly and very good looking.
Hi I am Patrick and I am looking for a best mate. I love people, especially kids, I love to lick their toes and hear them laugh, you can tell by the big smile on my face. My trainer thinks I am very smart and I am hoping that you will teach me more. So far I can sit, stay, drop and focus on you for more instruction.
I love to have company so another dog is a must any size I am not fussy I get on with everyone (not too sure about cats). I am a big fella and I can jump really high so 6 foot fences will be needed.
So let’s go over this and see if we are right for each other.
My ideal home:
1. Plenty of room to run and play, I am not overly active like some youngsters but I would like room to play fetch with you.
2. A Warm bed in a sheltered area. I currently share a room with my foster buddies. My foster carer calls it “the garage” but, if you like I am sure I would like to sleep in your room with you.
3. Two meals a day and some juicy bones.
4. High fences and a secure yard.
5.Plenty of exercise, I love to go for walks.
Most of all I would like a family to call my own and someone who will make me part of their life and teach me everything. In return I will be your loyal and loving best mate. My foster mum says I am “just like that neighborhood dog that everyone loved when she was a kid”. I am sure you have heard of that dog and have always wanted one of your own.
I have my own Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/Patrickneedsaforeverhome
If you would like to meet me please email my foster carer Victoria, my foster mum vdavies93@gmail.com and arrange a meeting. You will be amazed.
Patrick is in foster care in Tenambit, NSW (Near Maitland).
Patrick’s adoption fee is $300. It includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and registration

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
