About Lace ~ Maltese/Foxy X Pom/Shih Tzu (Trial 13/8/15)
Lace is a beautiful 9 week old Maltese/mini Foxie x Pomeranian / Shih Tzu puppy and is a tiny little girl only weighing 1.2kg so is not available for families with children under 10 for her safety.
She is a very affectionate little girl who loves to cover you with puppy kisses and snuggle with you whenever she can. Lace loves her brother Denim and they play together and then will snuggle together for a sleep so she will need to have another small, friendly dog to play with and keep her happy and someone who is home most of the time as she also loves her human company and will follow you wherever you go.
Lace is learning her house training but she is only a baby and accidents do happen so this will need to be continued in her new home as she is a house dog and needs to be a family member . Puppy school is recommended for all puppies to give the best start in life to both puppy and family.
Lace has a beautiful soft coat that will need regular bathing and brushing and possibly grooming in the summer months to keep her comfortable in the heat. Lace and her brother Denim are already using a doggie door but are not allowed in the yard unless supervised for their safety because they are so small which also makes her not available for adoption for elderly people as she loves to be near her humans and can get under foot wanting to be near you.
Lace will be available for adoption from 14th August after she has had her 2nd vaccination in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas and Central Coast as she will need to attend one of our wonderful DRN vets for her compulsory desexing when she is old enough.
Lace loves to play with her toys and a good tug of war game is her favourite game.
If you would like more information about this very special little girl you can contact her carer Debbie on 0408825714 which is preferred or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com
Lace is in care in Beresfield 2322 a suburb of Newcastle. Adoption fee of $650 includes microchipping , flea and worm treatment , vaccination and desexing.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
