Mameha

Sweet, gentle and full of love pretty much sums up lovely Miss Mameha. This darling girl will bring light into your life and warm your heart in this chilly Winter. Mameha (pronounced mam-ay-a) had a very difficult start to life and has come a long way so as her perfect new family you will be loving, caring and gentle humans who promise to love her as much as she loves you. Mameha came from a rural property where over 50 cats were running wild. She was very very sick with cat flu and was not getting the care and treatment that she needed - the severity of her illness meant that one of her eye fused closed and has now suffered some permanent damage. Fortunately it is quite minor and barely noticeable, and it doesn't affect her vision.
Mameha is a cat who values her relationships with people - this means that she doesn't rush up to just anyone to make friends, she waits and considers what you're like first. Once she determines that she would like to hang out with you, she will seek you out often for smooches and loving. She will thrive in a home that is mostly quiet and calm - although she likes to play very much, she is certainly beyond crazy kitten antics. She is very good with other cats and would love a feline friend but a home without small children would be preferred. A calm and cat-friendly dog would be fine. Mameha has been waiting a long time for a perfect new family to call her own.
