Lochie is on hold pending adoption.

This beautiful young dog is Lochie who is 18 months old stock coated German Shepherd. Lochie is located in Sydney and has been a family dog growing up with children.

Lochie turns two years old in December and his family do not have the time to provide him with the care and exercise a young dog of this age and breed so desperately needs.

Lochie is just wonderful with people and children as you can see by his photographs but we would need to ensure that the children are older and dog savvy. Lochie will need an experienced owner who is prepared to take time out for training, exercise and playtime with Lochie. Lochie is NOT a guard dog he looooves people too much and definitely he would not cope left all day alone in a backyard. \

So if you have the time, commitment and patience, have experience with large breeds and understand their requirements then perhaps Lochie is for you. We only home our dogs to people who will ensure that the rescue dog is an integral member of the family and at this stage Lochie has had minimal contact with small dogs, cats or pocket pets so best he be the one and only dog in the household.
