Luna & Lovegood (Red Flag)

A red flagged guinea pig means that he/she has had a bad experience either from neglect or ignorance these guinea pigs are looking for an extra special home where they can get the care and love they so desperately dissever.

Hello our names are Luna & Lovegood and we love people and are very friendly and also enjoy lots of cuddles..

Luna was surrendered with a horrible old eye infection due to an abscess located behind the eye bursting, after she was surrendered she was taken to our vets (Reedy Creek Vet Surgery) where she was then put under a general anesthetic so the eye could be cleaned she was then put on a course of strong antibiotics.

If there was no improvement Luna would be to go back to vets to have her eye removed but luckily for Luna her eye has healed very well and she dose not require any further treatment.

Sadly though Luna is completely blind in one of her eyes and it no longer looks quite like it used to but it is healthy and she is very happy so removal of the eye is not necessary

Please not you are required to send photos of where you wish to house the girls and Please keep in mind that the shelter is looking for a extra special home for them somebody that is willing to go above and beyond what is needed so please understand that if your adoption form is not approved it may be because you are not the right home for these girls you may be the ideal home for some of the other guinea pigs available.
