About Jack ~ Shih Tzu X (on trial 3/8/15)
Hi my name is Jack I am a 3 year old Shih Tzu X hhmmm not sure what with ?????.....My foster mummy says I am a perfect gentleman as I wait for my food , I sit, I am fully house trained and just adorable – I am chuffed that I am the first Male foster doggy that has not marked his territory in my new home, my mummy gives me lots of cuddles and I love cuddles .
I cried a lot at first when my new mummy left me at home as I have never been left alone but as I realized that my mummy will come back, I am starting to relax a bit. I lived in a unit for 3 years with my daddy and never had anything to do with any other doggies, but now I live with 4 others!!!!!
Wow I was not sure of them at first but because they are my size I am slowly getting friendly with them and I’m not as scared. We go to the dog park every day for a walk but I am really frightened of all the BIG dogs, so we keep away from them. But I love love love my walks and am perfect on a lead, I absolutely adore all people no matter what age, I just want to be with them.
My perfect forever home would be a home with a family that is not away from me every day as I am used to being around people a lot. Like I said I’m getting used to being alone but I don’t want to be alone most of the time I just would not cope. I have so much love to give a new family; I only know love as I have had a good life so far, I do not have a nasty bone in my little body.
My coat is low shedding and just needs a quick brush every day. I get a bath every week with my foster mummy and clipped about every 6 weeks to keep me neat and tidy just like a gentleman should be.
I do need a good walk every day or even two if we can, after that I am very settled. And come 7.30 pm I am ready for bed and sleep all night in my little doggy bed in my foster mummy’s room.
If you want a perfect little gentleman as a new friend to love forever than I’m your man. I am full of life and love and can’t wait to meet my new family.
I am in foster care in Valentine Lake Macquarie , contact Carolyn 0404874136 or email Carolyn@tradeserv.com.au if you would like to know anything else about me………..

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
