About DJango
Introducing big boy Django. This handsome and sweet natured young boy first came to GSRV many months ago where he was neglected and left chained up for most of his life. Despite his circumstances he has a lovely albeit goofy demeanour. He is also very eager to please and generally still a big pup. Very playful and cuddly. All he wants is affection and will work for praise.
Lovely as he naturally is he is quite a handful as he has had little to no socialisation or training before coming into care and is often restless and unsure of himself without some guidance. DJango is large and strong and can be hard to handle if he feels he can get his way physically. Yet he is still selectively obedient. Knows his basics, travels well in the car and walks well on the lead. This boy is not hard to train but he is stubborn and difficult to handle when he gets excited, mostly due to cats.
Due to this we are looking for a home with no cats or pocket pets. He is currently living with two female shepherds and a small white fluffy dog which he is fine around. He is far to clumsy for small children as he will knock them over.
If you feel you can offer Django a forever loving home where he can be part of your family please fill out an adoption form.
