About Banjo
Hi there, my name is Banjo and I'm an Aussie Shepherd who is in foster care with kids and also a cat. I'm great with kids and cats don't bother me but due to a previous foster doggie that was here before me, the cat I'm living with is scared to come near me, but I'm sure in time we'll be best buddies.
My foster mum says I have a great temperament. I love love love cuddles and playing outside with my toys. Although I'm a big softie, I will let you know if someone is approaching the house and be on guard if needed, so know that you will be safe with me around.
I love to spend time at the park or beach, running around with other dogs both big and small. My recall off lead is pretty good and my foster mum is taking me to doggie training to help with my walking on lead skills (I tend to pull a little from excitement) and with consistency and training, I should be the perfect gentleman to walk in no time!
I spend my days both inside and outside and prefer to sleep in the great outdoors with my blanket and kennel at night. I am toilet trained which you'll be happy to know and am always getting comments about my gorgeous coat. So if your looking for a handsome, young, energetic young boy to complete your family, please feel free to contact Vanessa and let her know some information about you and your family and why you think I may be suitable to join your family.
To help with my training, Wyong Dog Training club are offering 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please utilise this awesome gift that would benefit both you and me.
I am in foster care at Long Jetty on the Central Coast. All my vet work is complete and ready for adoption now.

When enquiring about Banjo, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
