3 year old male Staffy, brindle & white, desexed.

Soul is such a great little dog it's hard to imagine how he ended up in the pound. Happy, energetic, and house trained. Walks well on the leash and comes when called. Good with other dogs, untested on cats. Great with 12-year-olds, untested on younger kids.

This dog does not appear to have any issues or personality problems. He is basically a good natured, well adjusted, bouncy critter. The only slight blemish I can see is that he gets super excited sometimes (especially when someone comes home) and has a tendency to jump up and start 'mouthing'. He's learning that this is not OK, and his new owner would need to keep working on this with him.

He would ideally suit a family with older kids, or someone who had a lot of time and energy to spend with him. He would probably adore younger kids (we have 12-year-olds) but might knock them over. He loves running and would need to get plenty of daily exercise. He'd love to play football with you (although I can't guarantee the football would survive!), chase balls, or just hang out with his people. He's also very good at smooching on the couch.

Like all staffies, he loves human company and would be very unhappy living outside or being left alone for long periods of time.
