About Nemo Pie
A slice of puppy love bliss with a face you'll always want to kiss!
Second born with the prettiest little face the world did ever see, baby Nemo is the sweetheart and only girl of her litter.
With delicate features and soulful eyes, Nemo has everyone she meets wrapped around her paws within seconds.
Nemo Pie is one of four of the world famous #PieSlicePuppies who were born into a loving foster care environment after their mum (Pecan Pie) was saved heavily pregnant from the pound. Nemo's mum is a Manchester Terrier. The breed of Nemo's father is unknown, the adult shape and size of Nemo will likely be most similar to that of her mum as she has Manchester Terrier colouring/markings and body shape.
Having only known love and happiness, Nemo is a very well-adjusted and sweet-natured young puppy who will make an excellent addition to one very lucky family.
At 10 weeks of age, Nemo has started toilet training, learning how to 'come', 'stay', 'drop' and 'shake', and has mastered 'sit' with a focus second to none.
As the only girl in the litter and surrounded by her boisterous brothers, Nemo stands out as the thinker of the group. She is confident, smart and has the right amount of sass. She is happy and aware of her surroundings, though at times she can be (only very slightly) alarmed at 'out of the ordinary' noises or commotion.
Cuddle time with her humans is a true love of Nemo's. She has a great sense of loyalty and love which she communicates perfectly.
It's a big world out there but so far Nemo has been introduced to humans of all ages, from newborn babies to senior friends in the community. Much the same with canine friends, Nemo has met a wide range of pups of all ages, breeds qnd sizes. So far Nemo is just like any other well-adjusted puppy and displays no signs of fear or timidity towards other dogs, as long as she is introduced in a safe and gentle environment.
Nemo has not yet been introduced to any adult cats, however at 6.5 weeks of age Nemo and her litter mates very famously met a group of 3-week-old kittens with a sweet video of their encounter found via this link: https://youtu.be/8rSH8-pbHZ0
The ideal home for Nemo Pie would be one that will offer: a loving and nurturing environment; further puppy training (puppy school); and daily walks, exercise, play and socialisation with both humans and other dogs. Nemo would love to go to a home where she'll have lots of companionship, preference considered to a home with an older canine sibling or two.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
