About Beau ~ Mini Foxy (On Trial 18/9/15)
Hi, my name is Beau. I am a 4 year old mini Fox Terrier. I proudly possess all of the Terrier traits: intelligent, inquisitive, confident, energetic, playful and, of course, cute.
My ideal furever home is one where I have plenty of human company as, like most of my furfriends, I don't like being left alone for long periods. I love to play with my squeaky toys and to play chase with my foster family.
At night I love to sleep on the couch with one eye on the TV watching Master Chef. Oh, and by the way, I love being in the car and going on little adventures.
I enjoy free access to be inside and outside, and I use a doggy door at my foster home to do this. I need to sleep inside at night as this is what I am used to. I sleep in a cosy bed on the floor of the bedroom.
I need a secure yard and fencing as I am a Terrier and can jump high if I need to. I love my daily walk and am learning to walk more calmly with my harness and lead. I also love my food..I am not fussy.
I currently live with 2 older dogs but as long as I have plenty of human company I don't really need another dog to hang out with, but this would be a bonus..... as long as they are small like me as I am a bit bossy.
Im currently living in a house an older child who I get along with very well.
I am very smart and will let my family know if someone comes to visit or is in the yard by barking but I stop once I am reassured. I understand and follow basic commands as I really want to please my family and do the right thing.
If you think you could give me a loving home please contact my foster carer Kate, her number is 0411703457 or you can email her at dog2adopt@gmail.com. I am currently living in Valentine, NSW (Lake Macquarie, South of Newcastle).
My adoption fee is $400 and it includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment + a lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
