About Bono ~ Australian Cattle X ~ Puppy (trial 5/8/15)
Hi my name is Bono - yes Bono and just like my name sake all the girls both 2 and 4 legged love me. I am an Australian Cattle X and I was born on 27th April 2015.
I am such a smoocher, and this is not just me saying this my foster mum says it to me all the time. If you should happen to be sitting there doing nothing I might just happen to come up and let you pick me up and give me a cuddle. I may love cuddles but I also like to play with the other furry kids at my house, both the little one and the big one. That is fun but I do get tired and need to have a little rest after a while.
Sometimes I manage to sneak inside with out the other puppies and I get to spend some special time with my foster family. It is lovely to curl up on the lounge and watch tele.
I will come when I am called and will sit, especially when our dinner is on the way. I have tried walking on a lead but I am not real fond of it my foster mum says I will learn to like it then I can go for big walks, just like the big dog.
I just love to go for a drive and just snuggle down on my blanket and say come on lets go.
I sleep in a kennel in a closed in area with my foster buddy. We even have our own combustion fire to keep us warm. Our foster mum puts down some newspaper in case I need to go to the toilet through the night and I am such a good boy instead of going outside I will use it and then just waddle of back to bed.
If you would like to find out more about me you can my contact my foster mum Anne and I am sure she will be able to answer any questions you might have. You can ring her on 0412 837 867 or send her an email anne_armitage@bigpond.com
I am living in Charlestown but I ready to go to my own family. So if you think you could be the right family for me just get in touch with Anne.
Bono's adoption fee is $450 and he will be desexed when old enough, he will need to be brought back to DRN vets so unfortunately he not available for interstate adoption and can only be adopted to the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley areas. Bono is vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms and microchipped. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
