About Julian and Piper ~ On Trial 10/8/15
Introducing Julian and Piper, the sweetest little male and female pair of friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. These two munchkins are just the cutest little couple around. They are so in love with each other and are always happy and gentle and just want to hang around each other and their family.
Piper is black and tan and is 3 years old – she loves her food as you can tell by her rotund frame! She is such a sweetheart and loves exploring the yard and having a roll on the grass before laying in the sun to catch some rays. Piper is the ultimate lap dog and loves to sit next to or on you on the lounge. She is content to be wherever you are. She will cuddle you all night long if you wish or she will settle nicely on the couch or in a doggy-bed with Julian.
Julian is a stunning tan colour and is a most adorable little 6 year old. He has a wise old-man expression on his face which certainly hides his cheekiness! Butter wouldn’t melt in this gorgeous little fellows’ mouth! Juian’s favourite thing in the world is you - he is always interested in what you are doing and always wants to lend a helping paw, whether you’re cooking dinner or out in the yard. \ Julian likes to dig in the yard as he thinks he’s helping you, so he will need a yard where he cannot dig out. If you are a worker – he will dig out to find you. He will need a secure yard with no soil at the bottom of the fence to keep him safe and sound. He has the purest little heart and you will fall in love with him immediately!
Both Piper and Julian have exquisite manners. \ They both know how to sit and are polite and house trained. Piper and Julian are in foster care with their feline sister Bella and absolutely adore her to bits and are always gentle and caring with her. This delightful couple are lovely and quiet and would be happy in any home where they will be pampered and loved. \ They are happy to share their home with another friendly dog of any size (they used to live with a labrador who they adored) or friendly cats. They currently sleep inside and are comfortable on their own bed or on your bed. Throughout the day Julian and Piper are happy to play and sleep whilst their foster family is at work.
Julian and Piper have low shedding coats which need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 6 to 8 weeks) to keep them comfortable and beautiful.
If you would like to meet Julian and Piper or have any further questions please contact Gemma on email gmason4@hotmail.com. Julian and Piper are in foster care near Wyong on the NSW Central Coast. They must be adopted together and are not available for adoption interstate.
Julian and Piper's combined adoption fee is $1,000 and includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
