Munchkin ~ Teacup Pom X Maltese (on trial 31/7/15)

Introducing 10 week old gorgeous girl Munchkin. She is a cuddly Teacup Pomeranian x Maltese Terrier weighing 1.5kg and only expected to be a small girl.

Munchkin is currently in foster care with another little puppy named Vogue and she loves the company of another little canine friend. She has lots of energy and loves to play with her toys and chase Vogue and her human friends around so a home with young children or elderly people may not be a good match for little Munchkin as she is so small that she may accidentally run under your feet.

She sleeps very well at night as once the lights go out we do not hear a peep from her until breakfast time in the morning as long as she is nice, cosy and warm cuddled up with her teddy bear or her little buddy Vogue.

Munchkin is almost 100% toilet trained to go to the toilet on the washable pee mats in her play pen. She loves to have a run around on the grass in the backyard on a nice warm sunny day and then have a big sleep.

Munchkin does like cuddles but playing with her foster buddy Vogue is one of her favourite pass times.

The perfect home for Munchkin would be a home with another little fur baby for munchkin to have as a companion or someone who is home quite a lot. Not a home that is not just full time workers and Munchkin will be home alone too much as she is not fond of being alone especially while she is so young. A fully fenced and secure yard is a must as little dogs can squeezed through or under the smallest spaces.

Munchkin will definitely need to be an inside dog and because she has such a gorgeous non shedding coat, she will need brushing regularly and grooming every 6-8 weeks.

We always recommend Puppy Preschool so that puppies can receive training and socialisation which is especially important when young not to mention it is also a great opportunity to bond with your new family member.

Munchkin because she is too small for desexing right now will need to be returned to our local vet for desexing so Munchkin at this time can only be adopted local to the Newcastle area such as Newcastle, Central Coast or Hunter.
