About Jackie Brown
Update 12. 5. 09: jackie is our longest term resident, having arrived very pregnant on the 2nd of january. It is a wonder why she has been left when the six other piggies she arrived with have all been adopted. Perhaps it is because jackie has suffered from a bladder stone, and since then has been a weaker piggie in need of some extra care. Jackie can be picky with eating her vegetables, preffering softer ones although she's quite happy with carrot. Please don't let this put you off adopting her, after all, we all know someone who is a fussy eater!
Update 19. 4. 09: jackie has fully recovered and is a beautiful and friendly guinea pig. Update 11. 3. 09: after weaning her babies jackie got a severe bladder stone from which she nearly died. She has been nursed around the clock for a few weeks now and recently has shown signs that she will recover. Extra special home needed for this girl who has become so very close to all of us. Preferably adopted with her little daughter sophie, who hates to be separated from mum. 23. 1. 09 update: jackie gave birth over night to 4 drop-dead-gorgeous bubs! there are two ginger and white girls and two rainbow (lilac, golden and white) boys. Pictures coming soon. . . . Jackie brown was surrendered to the awl before coming here. She is still pregnant and she will have to give birth and wean her babies prior to being adopted, however we would love to hear from you if you can give her a home after that. Jackie brown is quite a stunning guinea pig, with a lovely personality. *** e-maills are preferred ***
