Joey

Hey there, my name is Joey! I'm a bouncy young boy who is looking for a home! I'm a little different to some other dogs, I am completely blind. I've been blind from birth so I don't really know what I'm missing out on and it doesn't really bother me in the slightest. My perfect home will be with someone who is around a lot, will include me in daily activities and will take the time to commit to me special training needs. I would be best in a home with an existing dog so that I have a buddy to teach me the ropes. I will get used to my home and surroundings fairly quickly but keeping my areas consistent and hazard free will help me. I am going to be a very large dog so my new family will need to have the space and strength to control me. Toys are great, I have lots of running around and chewing on toys. Someone with knowledge of the needs of blind dogs would be great for me, I need all the help I can get. Obedience training is a must for me. My sense of hearing and smell are awesome, I can find the humans that have been caring for me by their sounds and smells.
