About Lucky Russell ~ Jrt X Red Cattle (6/9/15 trial)
Hi my name is Lucky Russell, and if you are looking for a very loyal and loving mate than I'm your man. I'm 14 month old Jack Russell x Red Cattle Dog.
I love to play but I also love to snuggle up with you and watch a bit of tv. I'm looking for someone who will teach me everything I need to know so I can be the best dog anyone can ask for.
I'm eager to please and I'm a quick learner. If you have treats, then I'm putty in your hands. I already know how to sit and I'm getting good at staying as well.
I have a very sweet nature but I get bored when left alone for too long, but I won't try and jump out. I'm still learning that cats can be my friend, so it's best not to trust me around any little animals as they might taste as good as they smell.
So if I have another doggy friend to run and run and run with or someone who is home a fair bit and can help keep my mind busy. Then please consider me. So remember, my name is Lucky Russell and I'm super cute (if I don't say so myself!!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
