About Spike
HPAWS would like to introduce you to SPIKE (D805) the male greyhound x kelpie. Spike is now 9 weeks old and is starting his journey of finding a forever home.
Spike is a very mellow fellow who loves being in the company of humans and other animals. If you want a shadow Spike is your man. We feel Spike will need an animal companion to keep him company - another dog or a dog friendly cat.
Spike is in foster care with children, another dog (Billie the Bassador) and two cats. He loves to play and then fall asleep curled up to Billie his foster brother. Spike has a unique curly tail - cute.
Being a pup Spike will need a home where he will get the training and socialisation he requires to grow into a well balanced, obedient and well socialised dog. With the breed mix we expect Spike will grow into a medium/large dog - bigger than an average kelpie.
Spike's adoption fee is $350 which will help cover some of the costs of his veterinary work. Spike is desexed, microchipped and has had his 1st vaccination. Spike's new owners will be responsible for paying for his booster vaccination to ensure he is protected from doggy illnesses. Spike's adoption fee also covers his flea and worm treatment and includes the balance of this year’s council registration if adopted into Horsham Municipality.
To find out more about Spike please call Carolyn on 0427 221 231.
Medical notes
Spike is desexed and microchipped ready to head to his forever home.
Spike has had his 1st vaccination but will need a booster in 3 weeks time at the cost of his new owner.
