Mabel ~ Kelpie (On Trial 10/3/16)

Meet Mable, a gorgeous 1 and a half year old Kelpie, who is longing for a home of her own. She loves exercise and she looks for things to do, so lots of play, toys and attention and she will be your best friend. She is a very good listener and comes back when you call her name.

Mabel likes a bit of rough and tumble with other dogs, though with our very small mini foxie, she is respectful when enough is enough! Mabel frets if alone so will need to go to a home with another dog for companionship. She is good with children.

Mabel is interested and thrilled with our house cats but knows they are to be admired from a distance (this reflects more on our cat’s attitude!).

Mabel is very smart and very agile; she would suit a person who wishes for a dog out of the ordinary.

Mabel sleeps in a kennel with company, and likes to come inside, she loves to cuddle up and be apart of the family.

Mabel loves people, and gets very excited, which can lead to forgetting her manners and jumping up, she is getting better.

Mabel requires 6 foot + fencing. She is also better off not living on a main road as she finds the traffic annoying.

If you are looking for an exercise companion, someone who is amazingly clever, loving and a real thinker than Mabel may be the dog and joy you are looking for.
