About Romeo ~ Kelpie x Cattle ~On trial 27/7/15)
Meet Romeo -He is a beautiful 10week old male Kelpie x Cattle. He has a super soft short black coat with a small patch of white on his little chest.
Romeo is such a sweet little guy with a beautiful nature who loves to play and have fun, but mostly enjoys cuddles in front of the fire. He is very inquisitive and loves to explore the outside world.
Romeo is eager to please his human friends and is such a quick learner. He can sit, come when called, and knows when its bedtime its quiet time and happily goes to sleep in his bed.
He is also doing very well at toilet training. He will bark to go outside most of the time and will hold all number twos whenever inside. Please keep in mind that Romeo is still a baby and must be indoors to sleep but he is extremely well behaved and used to sleeping in a large crate with comfy bedding and some snuggly teddy bears. Actually he loves to hoard everything possible in his bed. Such a funny boy he is.
Romeo loves passing time chewing on special treats, playing with toys, chasing his brother, snuggling up with his humans and playing with his puppy and doggy friends.
Romeo is very good with children, cat’s chickens and other dogs. He especially loves to play with his big foster sister (A large Rottweiler) Romeo will be a medium to large dog and will need a good sized yard with daily exercise.
He would suit almost any lifestyle however a home with children or another doggy friend would be most ideal as he really does love being surrounded by playmates and always has so much love to offer.

Romeo’s adoption fee is $450 and he will be desexed when old enough. He is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
