ABOUT PENNY

Penny may be big but she feels that she can be just as good of a lap dog as any other small dog! Despite her size she is a very gentle dog with a dopey nature. She does not jump up on you but as she is strong with muscle she will need to go to a home with someone who has a tight grip on the lead. She is very house trained and will wait at the back door until she is let out to go to the toilet. Penny wants to be a part of the family, so she will not accept being left outside for long periods while her humans are indoors, she most certainly will not handle having to sleep outside, she is used to having a spot on the couch. She is a very well trained lady who is very well behaved and knows many commands. Despite her size she is a great family dog who is very gentle with smaller dogs and children. Penny is a great pillow and loves a big bear hug and to be smothered in kisses. She does not require a lot of exercise but does enjoy chasing after a ball and playing with other dogs, she is a very clever girl and uses her puppy eyes to her advantage! Penny is a joy to foster and it will be bitter sweet when she leaves for her forever home.
