About Gerry (Cat/Child/Dog Friendly)
Gerry was surrendered to Wally's Doggie Rescue as an unwanted litter from Northern NSW. Wally's Doggie Rescue took in Gerry and his two brothers into care.
Gerry is a placid, happy boy and real character. Gerry is in foster care in a family environment with two children age 6 and 9 years, 2 adult cats, 4 adult dogs, and two other puppies. He is a real smoochy boy who loves the attention of people and his foster siblings as well. Gerry is a spectator kind of pup and likes to watch the other puppies and dogs rumble in the backyard, and occasionally joins in to rough it up, but generally just watches and waits on the side line.
Gerry will quiet happily follow you around the yard and inside the home. Gerry loves to curl up on your lap on the lounge and at your feet at the mat, at the end of the day.
Gerry is fed a premium diet of Royal Canin puppy biscuits and raw chicken mince. Gerry will happily share his bowl with his foster siblings, but does eat his food rather quickly.
Gerry is learning to be inside dog and is currently learning her basic obedience training of walking on a lead, sit and stay. Gerry has great recall off lead as well, in the front yard.
Gerry is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea/heartworm treated and will be desexed on the 12th of August 2015 and is available after this date. A meet and greet of the handsome Gerry can be arranged prior to this date.
Medical notes
Healthy Puppy.
Adoption details
When enquiring about Gerry, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Gerry.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Gerry is located on Central Coast of NSW.
