Miffy

Hi my name is Miffy I’m a gorgeous 2yr old Beagle X. My start at life wasn’t too good, before I reached 8 months I was moved around 7 “free to good home” so I never settled in anywhere, or with any other animals. I have made great progress in my training and have now learnt the basics, and how to be social with other dogs. I can be super full on and I need a strong leader who will pull me up when I’m too excited. I need solid rules and boundaries. Someone who will enforce them, and be a good leader not a lover! I do not show aggression towards other dogs, but I’m reactive to the energy given. Because I have a tendency to come in too hyped, I have given a few snaps back when told off by other dogs. But if a dog were to turn around and play there wouldn’t be an issue, this is why it is really important to find someone who is ready to take a handful. That’s just my personality. I will be as hypo as you allow me to be. But I can control it in the right hands and with the right communication. I love long walks and running is my favourite. When chasing a ball I’m still learning to bring that back. I would suit an energetic family with older children. So if you can be my leader/lover you will then be rewarded with my unconditional love back.
