All Romeo wants is a family to call his own. He is currently an outside only dog but I have no doubts if he was allowed inside he'd sleep soundly on the couch all day long. He happily plays with my 5 year old daughter but due to his age and larger size he sometimes needs reminding to be more gentle when he is excited. He loves chasing rope toys, loves squeaky toys, loves going for walks and loves car rides. As you can tell Romeo is all about the love!

He is not suited to a family with small animals such as guinea pigs or chickens but shows no interest in my two (indoor) cats. He is happiest right in the midst of things, being right by your side, or just sleeping soundly in the warm sun. He is energetic but would very happily sleep with his head in your lap if you so let him. No one has told him he is a bit too big to be a lap dog and I don't have the heart to break it to him!

He protects his home and family with a big scary sounding bark but the only concerns you will have around your children are of the slobbery kisses variety!
