About Thorne
Thorne is a more cautious kitten - he's often seen observing the antics his brother, Zorro, gets up to with the other cats. Thorne is friendly, playful and sweet - he loves to snuggle with the nearest person.
Ideal Home:
Thorne's ideal home would be one where he gets attention often. He happily lives in a busy household and is used to the noise and activity of 13 and 14 year old boys!! \ He's a fairly laid back kitten who'd suit most households. Cat towers and hidey holes to explore would definitely be welcome!! :D
Suitability to Children:
Thorne would prefer gentle handling so cat savvy children would be best - he's happily chilled with my niece who's 6 years old. He would need to be supervised with younger children as he's still learning to control his claws.
Suitability to Cats/Dogs:
Thorne currently lives with several other cats including his brother, Zorro. He quickly accustoms himself to the others and is sometimes worried by bigger cats which can lead to him hissing, especially if they're pushing into his space.
He's not too curious about our American Staffy and hasn't officially met him due to the dog's high energy levels (he won't calmly meet the cats - he tries to pounce on them).
He's met pet rats and is fascinated by the strange creatures.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
