Venice

Venice is a gorgeous Maremma lady looking for a new, loving and gentle home. \ She was rescued 5 years ago, emaciated, fragile and beaten, but has fortunately left that hard life behind her and is looking forward...always forward.

She is a beautiful natured girl, who loves being a member of the family. She is so gentle with little people and doesn't mind having another big furry friend (but no cats thanks). Venice is well behaved and social at the beach and loves lazing about in the sun - a real beach babe.

In typical Maremma fashion she is protective of her turf, so she can bark at night sometimes. This can be overcome by denning her inside with the family and she has a routine of eating dinner later at night. Venice currently lives in a yard with a 6 foot fence, a 5 foot fence would suffice.

She is great travelling in the car, walks well on a lead and enjoys a good adventure (even going for a stomp in muddy puddles). Are you looking for a loyal companion who doesn't mind getting a little dirty?
