THIS IS YOUR READY MADE FAMILY! Whilst CJ was listed as 7 years old by the Pound, he is considered by both the vet and his carer to be much younger. Both CJ and Tori are very playful, active dogs that will run and chase balls and toys endlessly. They love exercise so a home that is active, engaging and with people who can spend time with then is a must as they are both very much attention seekers. These two sweethearts are such great company for each other and constantly check on what the other is doing. They curl up in bed together and play chase around the yard together which is adorable to watch. Tori is tiny, weighing in at approx 2.5kg and CJ is about 5kg. This beautiful pair were surrendered to a country Pound in appalling condition. CJ was so emaciated and thin that even his rescuer was in tears. He has clearly been smacked and hit a lot and terribly neglected. Tori was also extremely thin and was found to have had an infection in her womb that would have surely killed her had she not come into care and been desexed. Both dogs have been in foster care for over a month putting weight on before they could have their routine vet work done. They have both recovered well from surgery and are happy, healthy babies ready for their new forever home and a much better life. CJ is naturally still timid around new people but trusts quickly whereas Tori is happy to receive pats and cuddles anytime. These two dogs will not be separated as, after everything they have been through, they love and need each other. Whilst CJ was initially very wary about being touched around his hind rump area he is now a happy, loving and playful boy. He loves toys, playing chase, rolling on his back and licks and cuddles best of all. It is clear that he was treated the worst by far which is so incredibly sad. His rescuer has been taking dogs for 20 years and says that CJ is the most beautiful natured dog she has ever met. Whilst Tori is INCREDIBLY CUTE, sweet, gentle, playful, loves toys, rolling on her back and cuddles and kisses, she does not appear to have been treated badly, apart from being starved. So together they are a beautiful team, ready to entertain a new family and be much loved and cared for members for life! This lovely pair are best suited to an adult home or where resident children are over 10 years. Both are house trained and use the doggy door and have low shedding coats that will require regular grooming.
