Jack

Jack is a extremely intelligent and high energy boy who just LOVES to run. \ He is an easy young man to have around and gets on well with all the other dogs. The cats soon learnt that Jack is not interested in catching them – the fun is in the chase! He has been around the chooks and has not attempted to chase them, but still learning trust him to be with them unsupervised.

Jack has been an outside dog whilst living here but is keen to come inside so I presume he has been an inside dog at some stage. He doesn’t chew things up, bark or dig holes.

Jack sits and waits for his food and accepts treats gently. \ He will sit on command and stay for short periods so long as he is close to you. Recall is a bit slow – especially if there is fun things happening elsewhere!

Jack has been out working on cattle with the other dogs and is very enthusiastic. He works from the back and will bite the nose if they turn on him. He has been shown sheep but did not show a lot of interest at this stage.

Jack is a dog that thrives on mental stimulation and physical exercise, and would be fabulous at obedience or agility or if he continued with his stock work.
