About Ella
Ella is an extremely sweet and affectionate dog. Ella can be quite timid and obviously hasn't been exposed to a lot of things as simple things can make her jump or cower. She is getting daily training and exposure to help her overcome her timidity and is improving daily. Ella loves to please and tries her hardest to obey simple commands she is given. If she's not sure of what you are saying she sits back and cocks her head back and forth as if trying to understand what you've just said. Ella absolutely loves affection and cuddles. She is one of the most cuddly dogs that has graced the pound for quite some time. She likes nothing more more than to burrow her head into your chest whilst putting her paw in your hand. Ella has had no official obedience training but she is quite intelligent and is learning 'sit' and 'stay' currently. It's early days but she's very responsive to positive training methods and seems to have a very good memory. Ella is doing very well with other dogs, she had a very big play session with another female her size and age this morning and she went great guns. she was extremely confident and social. Was great to see! Ella has proven to be a very quiet dog in the pound, an occasional whimper now and then but apart from that she's not a talkative dog at all. She has her teddy which she loves playing with and thus far has not destroyed it nor any of her other toys or blankets. She seems to be a very clean dog.
