About Jessie (Cat/Child/Dog Friendly)
Hi my name is Jessie, I'm a very beautiful 9 year old Labrador girl.
My foster mum says I haven't got a bad bone in my body and that I love everyone and everything! Men, women, little children or big children.
But my very favourite things are, tummy rubs, snuggles and food!
I'm such a happy girl and my tail never stops wagging. I have mostly had puppies in the past but now I'm learning to play and enjoy life. I love to go for walks and have fun with my foster brothers and sisters, there's even a cat where I live and she's really quite nice! I love the water and sometimes dunk my head in my water bowl! The best place in the world is by your side, I'm sometimes called "shadow"!
But if you have things to do, that's ok, I'm happy to occupy myself or have a little nap. I like being outside with you, I don't bark very often, but I really don't like being left outside by myself. I am a little older now but I'm fully house trained and sleep like a log for 10 hours every night.
The vet said I'm healthy, but I have to go back each year, for an injection for the arthritis in my hips. The really loud storm last night didn't bother me at all, I even comforted my foster brother because he was shaking.
If you would like an extremely loving, happy, beautiful girl and you have the time to spend with her, then Jessie would suit you perfectly.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Jessie is located on the Central Coast of NSW where she lives with her foster family.
Medical notes
Previous Medical History Unknown. Arthritis in both hips.
Adoption details
When enquiring about Jessie, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
