About Makeia
My name is Makeia, and I'm a Ridgeback x cheeky bugger. I'm in foster care with kids and another dog and my foster mum lets me sleep next to her bed at night on my very own snuggly bed.
I don't have any food aggression with my foster buddy but I can sometimes get a bit carried away when the kids have food so will need some more training on doggie etiquette :)
I love bones to chew on and watching the cars drive by, kisses and cuddles from my family and I will give you lots of kisses back. I do love my walks and sometimes have trouble containing my excitement but with more training, will be a well behaved girl when out and about.
I do know my name and will come when called (if I feel like it) but will also need more training with my basic commands as I can be a little stubborn at times.
I would love to find a home where someone will be around to spend the time to train me properly. Somewhere where I will be an active part of the family and allowed to live both inside and outside of the home and go on adventures with you.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club will provide 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please utilise this awesome gift that will benefit both you and me.
Makeia is in foster care in Wamberal on the Central Coast and is available for adoption now.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Makeia. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Makeia, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
