About Angus *On Trial in His New home*
*ANGUS IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Howdy there, the name's Angus ... Angus McDog! Just dropping you a line to let you know that I am now available to complete your family just in case you were looking for a cute, friendly, energetic and cuddly pup with heaps of personality - you KNOW you want me - don't be shy!
Apparently I am around 10 months old and was born at the lovely rescue group that helped my mum when she was expecting me and my brothers and sisters. My mum is a Pug cross Beagle (Puggle!) while my dad was an English Staffy. And gosh I am cute! My temporary mum, who I am keeping an eye on till I find a home that needs me to look after them forever, says I am the friendliest, waggiest dog she has ever fostered. My tail does seem to have a life of its own - I have no control over it. It does its thing and I do mine. And other than food - the best thing in the world ever, ever invented is CUDDLES! I LOVE cuddles! I am happy to lay on my back on your knee getting tummy tickles while we all watch that big box thing with pictures on it. And at the moment I sleep on a big cushion thingie next to my foster mum's bed and put my head up for a little rub every now and then - just makes her feel better. And I let her know when it's time to go outside ... a puppy can't hang on forever! I also have a little bark if someone pulls up in a car - just to let others know that we have guests and to put the kettle on. And then I welcome the visitors with big kisses and lots more tail wagging. More people to pat me and say how gorgeous I am!
I am only young - not even 1 year old yet - and I reckon that I would LOVE to go to puppy school coz I'm a very smart young bloke and like learning stuff. I can sit (especially if food is involved) and I love going for runs with the other five dogs living here (they tell me there are things called "cats" - haven't really checked them out yet). I also love being busy - sniffing around and checking things out. And then I like a nap for a while to let my tail have a little rest from wagging - otherwise it might drop off…
I'm not going to be a big dog - just the perfect size. But I have a HUGE personality and I'm such a happy chap, and just love to be around people and other dogs (they are fun!) I mentioned food earlier - who invented that? It's GREAT! The people here call me "hoover" when I am enjoying my tucker. Not sure why. I am a growing lad and need my nutrients! So no need to check out the next fur critter on the computer thing ... you've found ME! And I would really like to find a home and people that I can love forever.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
